A Night at The Tonight Show

Our Second Time at The Tonight Show
Falling for Fallon (and “The Summer I Turned Pretty”): A Night at The Tonight Show – July 2025

This past July, we had the incredible experience of attending a taping of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon — for the second time! Being back at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, walking into Studio 6B with the bright lights and buzzing energy, felt just as thrilling as the first time… maybe even more. We were lucky recipients of a pair of tickets, and while we hadn’t heard who the guests would be in advance, we were excited just to be part of the experience.

| Russell Wilson, Jimmy Fallon |
The first guest to take the stage was Russell Wilson, newly signed quarterback for the New York Giants. Most people know him from his Super Bowl-winning days with the Seahawks or his recent time with the Broncos — but what caught a lot of us off guard was his baseball background. As Jimmy pointed out during the interview, Russell was drafted by the New York Yankees back in 2010 and played in their minor league system. Now, years later, he’s back in New York — this time leading the Giants.
He spoke about the surreal feeling of returning to NYC as a starting quarterback, the intensity of the New York sports scene, and the values that guide him both on and off the field. Charismatic and humble, Russell left a lasting impression.

Cue the Squeals: “The Summer I Turned Pretty” Cast
The studio absolutely erupted when the next guests took the stage — the cast of Amazon’s hit series The Summer I Turned Pretty. We hadn’t seen the show before, but the reaction from the audience — especially the girls squealing in every corner of the room — made it clear this cast had a serious fan following.
And within minutes, we understood why.
The cast was effortlessly charming and down-to-earth, sharing fun behind-the-scenes stories, teasing upcoming plot twists, and clearly enjoying each other’s company. Their chemistry was undeniable, and their excitement for the show was contagious.
By the time the segment ended, we were totally hooked. We went home, started bingeing the series, and are now full-blown fans. And yes — we are firmly #TeamJeremiah.

| Jimmy Fallon with Audience |
One of the highlights of the night happened after the cameras stopped rolling. Jimmy Fallon stuck around for a spontaneous Q&A session with the audience, answering questions and joking around in that warm, approachable way only he can.
Then came the best moment of all: Jimmy started running up and down the stairs, high-fiving the audience as he went — and we were right on the aisle, which meant we got to high five Jimmy Fallon himself. It was surreal and so fun, the kind of moment you never forget.
Everything about him felt genuine — from the way he interacted with guests to how much time he took to connect with the crowd. He’s not just a great host; he’s a great human being.
A Perfect Ending at Lillie’s Victorian
To wrap up the night, we headed to Lillie’s Victorian Establishment in Times Square — and it was the perfect spot to end our NYC adventure. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, adorned in enormous pink flowers that spill across the walls and ceiling, giving it a whimsical, almost fairytale-like vibe.
